The School of Nursing prepares nursing professionals at the bachelors, master’s and doctoral degree levels to meet complex human needs in a competitive global market. Led by the first Hispanic Dean in the nation and one of Hispanic Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential Hispanics, Dr. Elias Provencio-Vasquez, has helped the School of Nursing utilize advanced technologies to focus on improving healthcare and quality of life in our diverse local communities. The School has awarded the most Bachelor of Nursing degrees to Hispanics in the country and almost doubles the national average when it comes to graduating male nursing students. This, along with award-winning faculty and a diverse student population, makes the School a role-model in education, practice, and research as it equips its graduates with the skills needed to excel in today’s global healthcare environment.
